A professor once told me every photo in this world has been taken already, it’s your job to put your own lens on it. We believe a good idea can come from anywhere and that there are plenty of opportunities to make it your own. In this month’s blog post we share four places you can gain great inspiration as you plan your next round of content.
Pinterest: This may not be the first place you look but there are actually many great graphics on content topics. From copywriting tips to descriptive terms. Plus they’re all laid out in a visually pleasing way - just search “content creation”.
Brands outside your category: Look to the major lifestyle brands to track trends and get inspiration. Think about the brands you love to follow, use or wear and do some good old fashioned scrolling. Going outside your industry ensures you’re being inspired and not copying.
Thesaurus.com: A throw back to that big clunky book that may have sat on a bookshelf. Challenge yourself to look for new, fresh words so you don’t get stuck in a rut. New fresh words can also inspire new fresh imagery.
Social Tools: Content platforms like Hootsuite, @LaterMedia and Canva know who their audiences are (social media marketers) and are constantly featuring best in class social ideas and trends.
Those are a few on our list, tell us yours in the comments below and follow us on social for more conversation!
