As more people use social for search, your profile photo may be the first impressions that pops up. We’ve compiled a few tips to make sure you are putting your best foot…or rather pic forward.
Size: If there’s one thing that’s certain - social is always changing. As page formats change so often do the size of profile photos. Make sure your logo or name is not cut off in the profile image. Using tools like Canva allows you to easily pull the perfect size if you are having trouble fitting your logo or text in. Even big companies can make this mistake.
2. Text Alternative: If your brand has a long name consider using the logo or some other recognizable brand element in its place. The feed is only so big and sometimes less is more. Remember your username and page name will also be present.
3. Have fun. Using bold, bright colors or even showcasing the product itself can catch someone’s eye. Think about ways you can bring your brand front and center in your profile photo.
