Getting Social at Events

Whether it’s a trade show or tasting, events are back and there are plenty of ways to tie in social in the offline world.

Pre-event: Make sure you share you are attending on social. Interact with the event page and leverage the event hashtag. Make sure you follow and engage with others who are also attending and share a booth number if relevant.

At the event: If you have printed materials from hand out to pull-up banners include your social handles and/or a QR code that easily takes people to follow your page. Be sure to give them a reason as well - it could be a give away, a recipe or even a trade program. Continue sharing content on your own social channels from the event.

Post event: Keep the conversation going by sharing your favorite event recap images or fun facts/trends you learned while at the event. Continue to use the event hashtag and tag the event organizer and others you met.
